Guest Procedures

1. Fly the SYC Burgee!

2. Have your current membership card.

3. Check with Harbor Master, or at the Clubhouse, or follow instructions provided on signs or bulletin boards posted by the club you wish to visit.

4. When in doubt, ask—yacht club members are usually friendly & courteous, and will normally help if they can. “The Burgee Book” is a paperback guide to yacht clubs in the Pacific Northwest and BC is an excellent source of information on each club’s facilities. This publication is available at most local marine suppliers.

5. You are encouraged to leave a thank you note when you depart or mail one to the reciprocating club when you return home.

6. You will do other SYC members a great service by writing a short article for the SYC Log about your experience and sending it to the newsletter editor for publication.
